Before going solo,
Julia Volkova (also sometimes spelt "Yulia Volkova") was part of the Russian pop girl duo known as t.A.T.u. The group became known worldwide when they released the single "All the Things She Said," which made it to the top of the charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and several European countries. Back in the early days, the duo convinced everyone the two of them were a lesbian couple, however, later on it was revealed this was simply a publicity stunt.
In 2011 the group officially split after 9 total albums, including two remix compilations and a "Best Of" CD.
In October 2011, Julia released her first solo single "All Because of You."
Pretty Julia Volkova spent the earlier part of the last decade as half of the Russian teen singing duo, Tatu. Recently, she has made staggering changes to her looks with a facelift, lip augmentation, and rhinoplasty. Just a warning, kids, do not try this at home.
Just gazing between the before and after photographs of Julia Volkova proved she has had some work done. Her face appears thinner, for one thing. While this could be contributed to weight loss, other features which look different cannot. Her nose, for one, is thinner, indicating she has undergone nose job. She also looks to have had a small facelift, Botox injections and of course lip injections.
